The movie consist of 13 separate episodes each handling a period between 1960 and 1970. The length of these periods varies from one day to some years. It tells the story of a group of people in Munich (mostly music and film students). Every episode focuses on a different character from the group, although the main storyline and character, the young composer Hermann, continues. The movie tells a story in many different levels about love, friendship, misfortune, loss, art, politics, history with important historic events of the decennium in the background. It was the most costly and ambitious drama production in German television, although very cinematographic. Believed to be partly autobiographic.

There appears to be 2 issues with the subtitle files in this set. (I tried to check this vrey carefully, but it is difficult to keep track of so many files, as it must have been to upload them, for which you deserve much credit. But here are the two things I spotted).

1. The .sub file (inside the .rar archive) for Part 13 is actually the .sub file for Part 1.

2. The .sub file for CD-2 of Part 10 does not match the video. I have been unable to figure out where it goes (given that all the other subtitles match up with the vieeos).

I (and others) would be greatly appreciative if you could look into this.

    I found the missing .sub file for Episode 13: It is zipped in the file “http://www.nitroflare.com/view/A3E05339113DE1D/Heimat1984eng.zip” found in “Edgar Reitz – Heimat – Eine deutsche Chronik (1984).” That zipped file was said to contain the English subs for Heimat 1. Instead it contains the .sub file for Part 13 of Heimat 2.

      This still leaves the myster of Part 10b to Heimat 2. I thought perhaps the .idx and .sub file for Part 11 of Heimat 1 might be it (because it is the only set of idx/subs in that set), but I don’t think it is.
