Letterboxd review by Tony the Terror ★★★★½
If it stars Edwige Fenech, it’s going to be a good movie. If it’s a giallo starring Edwige Fenech and George Hilton together then it’s going to be superb. These are just basic facts.

I love this one. Just like most gialli, this is about some awful cad killing primarily pretty women and this time it’s in an apartment building, but part of why I enjoy this is that it’s pretty equally silly and suspenseful. There are parts that are dark and brutal and then there are lighter characters like the blonde roommate and the stupid cop and often that doesn’t work for me but here it just does.

This also gets an extra half star for that swingin’ 70’s score. I’m not saying it’s the greatest giallo score, but I am saying it’s one of my very favorites. Any time this movie is mentioned, I start humming the theme and every time I watch it, it gets stuck in my head for days afterwards and I mean that in the best possible way.
