Plot:
Shortly after the WW II, in a remote Bosnian village… After one of the pupils lost his pencil in the classroom, the other children and the teacher accuse Dika that he stole it. Wrongly accused and bullied by his classmates, Dika is trying to prove that he is innocent…

Award-winning 1960 Yugoslav film The Lost Pencil (original title: Izgubljena olovka), which won the Golden Lion for Best Children’s Film at the 1961 Venice Film Festival, and was named as one of the top ten children’s films of all time at the 1966 Cannes Film Festival.

Produced by Croatian company Zora Film, and filmed in a remote Bosnian mountain village, starring local school children.
