This 4K restoration of Mulholland Drive was undertaken by STUDIOCANAL and the Criterion Collection in 2021. The 35 mm original camera negative was scanned in 4K resolution. The soundtrack was created from the original 35 mm 5.1 surround mix. Both picture and sound were supervised by director David Lynch, with additional supervision by director of photography Peter Deming.
