The film takes places in the near future, following the trajectory of the 1990’s. Rampant consumerism, neoliberalism, globalization and American cultural imperialism have all reached their peak. Robbie and Stella come from different, but equally dysfunctional backgrounds. By happenstance, they find themselves together on the road, running away from their responsibilities, while being hunted down by the drugged-up mad dog, Ulfur. This film is fast-paced, filled with stunning visuals and great music, and is as free-roaming as the characters themselves.
