Charles Eames & Ray Eames – Powers of Ten (1977)
Beginning with a shot of a couple enjoying a picnic, then zooming out incrementally by powers of ten, the film offers a glimpse of everything from the edge of the known universe to the molecules on a person’s hand.

Have seen this presented over the years in a variety of guises or contexts: Educational film (in a classroom), “Industrial” short, documentary short,, but it surely must also rank as one of the greatest “Experimental” shorts ever made. This may be the best copy around, though if there ever was a copy in 1080P it would be fantastic, extra-special and not to be missed. Anyway, thanks very much for posting it here.
