Synopsis Das Wunder (The Wonder)

Teenager Raphaela was born blind into a wealthy, material focused family. Her father played by Raimund Harmstorf escapes reality into an affair with his secretary (Sybille Rauch). Her mother (Dagmar Lassander) reacts to the difficult situation in an over protective and possessive conduct towards her blind daughter.

Raphaela herself is intensifying her relation to her guardian Maria (! )played by Anouschka Renzi. Maria a very religious girl from the countryside tells Raphaela about a wonder happened in her village.
