Boys (Drenge) is Nils Malmros’ first movie made in collaboration with a professional film crew. In the Danish film Lars Ole, 5c the “5c” refers to the boy Lars’ school class form. The film consists of many little moments from the school life of a young man, including such occasions as a skirmish among the teens for teacherly favors or for attention from a member of the opposite sex.
